The methodology revolves around stocks that gap in price overnight. In the morning, we create a watchlist of stocks that have gapped above or below a level of resistance, we measure how far away they gapped, and if the stock has shock value (if it gapped against the previous trend. Based on our gaps criteria, we are able to create a bias on which direction the stock will move throughout the day. The reason gaps are so powerful is because its based on human psychology. Depending on where the stock gapped to overnight, we are able to determine how other traders, investors are feeling. The gap is telling us whether people are feeling greedy or fearful, which allows us to understand where price is going to move. Next are the strategies. The beauty of this methodology is that there are numerous strategies and setups. We use simple moving averages to see if a stock is ready to move more in price or whether it needs to correct. We use support and resistance to identify strong targets. We use volume to indicate whether a move is about to ignite or if a move will end. We are always looking at multiple timeframes throughout the day. We also use level 2 order flow, to show us the ratio between buyers and sellers, helping us know exactly right before price is about to make a move. All these resources combine allows us to play a few different setups: Base Breakout, Buy/Sell Setup, and the Exhaustion Setup. All of which I will teach you.
